Sniping in BeGone
Aight.... since this is not moving... i really want to know what community thinks about sniping in BeGone.
So i'll start with some easy questions...
1.- Is it even viable to play sinper in Warehouse?
Because one thing i do very often is to go to the high spot with my Assault rifle to nuke that unsuspecting ambusher or just to keep pressure on'em while my mates are nearby... damn u can even let ur mates know the enemy location by firing sinlge shots to a spot. BUT i don't like to do that with a sniper... becuase when i'm spoted & focused i sprint the hell outa there... & sniper ain't usefull in the maze....
2.- Crane...
I love & hate this map, because u can get ganked from litteraly anywhere on the map... & viceversa ;)
Snipe? i mean... i'ts NOT a 1 hit-KO, & smart players won't stand in the same place long enough... even less if they know they've been spotted. Plus, if u give away your position w/o killing someone you become an easy target, and relocating to another spot on the map is not time-wise... 2 minutes matches just won't do.
Just my toughts guys... i hope some of the veterans could get me out of my ignorance... or raise my ego...
But this forums must be used for something!
P.S. Sorry for bad english... not my natal languaje.

Snipers can be very good support within experienced players' hands. People such as Tri, Grim, or Weres have very good accuracy and can kill pro's in close range with a sniper. With that kind of support and you and your teammates using MP5's and M4's (hopefully not ;P) you can easily win the match.

i did the oppsite today, me and Dough and some other people were playing warehouse, and i was backing or helping Dough with his kills, so when he killing someone body i help by damging the militia guy 45-47 damge ^_^, but I dont like it when someone takes my kill when i still had like over 60hp left (when with snipe)

Tri- IGN: Shooter1134, Zero Dragon, Sleeping Forest, Asian Love, Wardog's Sidekick, probably never seen me used my real name unless couple of Creeds and I are in one server

Re: The Sniper's Hideout
My accuracy with the sniper is pretty good, but if someone shoots me I suck at returning fire.
Tips for sniper(or just what I do, it works for me)-
Warehouse-
Quickly run by the sides to your enemies' base. Sneak up their sniper platform and kill anyone there. Snipe from there, and you'll probably catch the enemies by surprise, as they would usually still be in the maze*
*For quick sprinting, don't run until your stamina is 50/60, run until 75-85 stamina and then refill/repeat(credits to UndeadSheep)
Tower-
I don't usually snipe in this map, but when I do, it's like this-
Militia- Go out the warehouse(ammo house way, not tower way) then stay at the first blue container. Shoot anyone at the tower, then go back to cover. Repeat as many times as you want, but watch people coming from the right(small house direction), and maybe coming from the warehouse(tower direction)
SWAT- 2 paths-
1- Stay at the Tower/Top of building next to tower and pick out anyone at the Warehouse/Ammo cache/Militia Sniping spot(see above). This strategy lets you see a large area, but people can also see you easily
2- Stay at the wall to the left of SWAT base, and watch if anyone comes by the small area between the SWAT and Militia base(Exit of Warehouse). Also watch your left side(ammo house direction), as many people come from there.
Crane-
My favourite map. Not much sniping tactics here. Just one rule- Keep moving. Once you hit a guy, run a bit then shoot him again. Even if he already ran for cover, at least you did not see you.
Don't stay at places like Militia/SWAT base or Oil platform(near SWAT base). Ammo cache roof is quite effective if you want to catch people near SWAT roof/base or old house(2nd ammo cache).
But if you're playing against noobs, you can stay at the SWAT roof(near the ladder, as there's a tree for camouflage) and pick them off. This tactic MIGHT work against more skilled players, as they can't really see you

Re: The Sniper's Hideout
Some snipers can shoot pretty fast and accurate such as Tri, Weres, or Grim. They definitely have the experience and the skill with a sniper to potentially kill many pros with it as I have seen (I won't mention names :P).

Warehouse- The best point for the snipers is the sniper platform (only if you are really good with the sniper).
Tower- Best place for SWAT is the roof. Best place for Militia is next to the tires.
Crane- Both spawn points are pretty good, the crane, and around the abandoned house.
Pipeline- Not really any good points for sniping except near ammo, hiding in the grass and the building that you use barrels to get on top of.
BTW Royal I have died many times from a sniper, so have you, and so have even very good people like NA die from a sniper such as Tri, Weres, or Grim.

Re: The Sniper's Hideout
There is no the best spot on this map. From platform you can easily spot enemy and be spotted even easier. For good sniper is even safer to stay on ground and shoot enemies coming out of the maze.Warehouse- The best point for the snipers is the sniper platform (only if you are really good with the sniper).
Best place for SWAT is the roof.
fence; tires; mili warehouse; on crates inside ammo building - so you can see those stupid coming on roof and tower;
mili 'fuel tank'; crane area; swat roof; fields; silo area;Crane- Both spawn points are pretty good, the crane, and around the abandoned house.
Actually on crane sniper is really effective because it's really open area if compared to other maps. So every spot where you can find some cover is good, just keep distance to enemy.
Behind privies - the best swat camp point; militia roof, actually on 'mili spawn area' you can find many good points; behind those barrels you mention - so you can see whole 'pipe lane'; on top of pipeline; in the bushes under pipeline; ammo area; trees; roofs of 'barracks'...Pipeline- Not really any good points for sniping except near ammo, hiding in the grass and the building that you use barrels to get on top of.
